🥳FloFest and GloFest 

This has to be the top pick for this weekend! Such an amazing FREE festival! Lots for the children, lots for the adults! Treasure hunts, animals, carousels, interactive games, free tennis, crafts, community groups and so much more!

💦Abbey Meadows Pool 

Abbey Meadows outdoor pool opens for this weekend only! We’ve been many times and loved the graduated entry point for little ones, it’s also fully accessible with ramp access too. If this weekend is popular then they may open it earlier than the planned July date. Use it or lose it!

📅 Saturday 21st June and Sunday 22nd June ⏰9am – 6pm 💷Adults: £6.80, Children: £4.30. Up to two children swim for free with every adult before 10am 🎫 Pre-booking recommended ℹ️ More info on Better website or Better app.

 

🔭Science Oxford: Family Day

The UK’s first indoor-outdoor primary science education centre with a hands-on Exploration Zone, Water Lab and 15 acres of woodland and ponds. This is STEM on another level and the fun factor is off the wall! We’ve been here so many times for school trips and days out and there is always something new to learn. Your tickets get you all day access to the woodlands and ponds.

📚Caper author event: I Could Be Eaten by a Shark 

! A funny, uplifting story from Marcela Ferreria and Mark Chambers, the author and illustrator of Bear vs Dragon, all about facing your fears. Books play such an important role in allowing children to explore different emotions.

🥥Boarstall Fete

We’ve been to this before and it’s excellent – a very quintessential village fete. Really impressive vintage cars turn out for the car show on the lawn. There’s lots of activities to entertain the children too.

⭐ Bike Oxford taking place – expect road closures and diversions ⭐

 

💜Cotswold Lavender

It’s open! The hot/ rain/ hot / rain combo recently has done wonders for the lavender. It’s not in full bloom yet, and the wildflowers aren’t quite there yet but keep an eye on their Facebook page where they post regular updates. This is still classed as ‘off peak’ until next weekend.

🥵 Millets Farm: Action Arena

The UK’s biggest touring inflatable obstacle course comes to Millets Farm. This is huge! We’ve done something similar before in an aircraft hangar and it’s a sweaty load of tiring fun! There’s a course for big and small and this is one you can defo opt to watch from the side-lines!

🎵JDP Cushion Concert

An introduction to different styles of music and instruments to children and their families. Bring your cushions to sit on and your best singing voice, dancing feet and clapping hands!
