We’ve been regulars at this park for years and I’ve watched all three of my boys master the mini toddler assault course with glowing pride! Six little obstacles to clamber over, through and spin around on. It’s a little person version of Tough Mudder (if you know, you know!) Physical confidence will grow as motor skills improve and children go from barely standing to Bear Grylls.
There is also a big rope pyramid, climbing frame with slide for little kids, one for the big ones too, swings – including a bucket swing – and a little house. Outside of the gated area is a zip wire, plus various logs to climb and balance on and big trees to hide behind. South Park features in our ‘5 best hills to roll down’ blog, check out where else you can roll here.
Other activities that children will love (although not exclusive to this park) include gate opening (x 10 billion), dog poo interrogation, shoe flinging, multiple bin investigation, stone collecting (again, x 10 billion) and snack destruction.
Oh, and did we mention the views of the spires? Sublime!
