🍓Rectory Farm strawberry picking
Is there anything more wholesome then fruit picking with children on a sunny day?! Redcurrants and blackcurrants are now ready to pick too. Absolutely love it. Don’t forget that a new booking system has been introduced for weekends and school holidays. You can purchase 2025 Season Passes for £21, giving you unlimited access for up to 10 people per day until 31st August 2025. There’s a BBQ on both Saturday and Sunday and very good coffee from Horsebox Coffee too!

🔭 History of Science Museum: How Does it Work (10.45 – 11.45 autism friendly hour)
Get hands-on with the collection and experience fascinating objects in action. There’s SEND-friendly backpacks too which are designed to help children explore science stories through hands-on activities. The morning session is relaxed and quiet for families with members on the autism spectrum to enjoy the Museum displays and collections. 🥳Horspath Summer Extravaganza
Love this season of fetes (and fete bakes too!) This local fete in Horspath looks fun with games, stalls, performances and competitions. All proceeds go to the primary school and church.

🛹Oxford Wheels Project: Beginners Skateboarding sessions
Meadow Lane Skate Park is open for business. Skateboarding business. 30-minute sessions cater to complete beginners and those who have some experience and want to progress further. If you can stand on a board and want to learn the next steps, this is the perfect starting point.

🚂 Cutteslowe Miniature Railway (Splash pad open too!)
Such a lovely miniature railway experience and with the track extension it’s great value for money too. Bring your swimmers along as the splash pad is open too. There is SO much to do at Cutteslowe park: numerous playgrounds, huge sandpit, crazy golf, tennis courts, wildlife area, duck pond, beach volleyball court, café and more! It’s easily a whole day adventure!

🎥 Ultimate Picture Palace: Kino Kids Club
The Giant Pear. Based on the popular Danish children’s book, this bright and colourful animated adventure will delight the whole family. It’s a billion degrees on Sunday and sometimes you need to stay out of the sun and get yourself into an aircon cinema for some wholesome film watching!

💜Cotswold Lavender
It’s now classed as peak flowering time…and the lavender is looking glorious! Check out their Facebook page where they have been posting regular updates – the purple is unreal! Worth noting that this is a cashless site.
