Waterperry is such a fantastic day out for families. We are annual pass holders and go at least twice a month for a run around. The children’s trails throughout the holidays are especially fun and there is decent play equipment on the lawn by the tea shop, which is free to access. There’s also an extensive plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift shop, museum and tea room.
The 8 acre ornamental gardens are beautifully tended to and a delight all year round with seasonal highlights including the snowdrops in February, snakehead fritillary season in early May and the fragrant wisteria and borders popping with colour when the sun starts to really shine.
Tag on the Waterperry to Waterstock walk if everyone still has bags of energy.
Dogs are welcome in the estate, including the tearoom, apart from the ornamental gardens.
