Made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971, it’s now home to 8 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, a plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift shop, museum and tea shop.
These gardens are beautifully tended to and a delight all year round and in summer the wisteria is out in full force and smells amazing, the borders are popping with colour, the hedges are so sharp, the lawns clipped and the paths mowed through the tall grass, you may even glimpse of a few bunnies scampering around too!
Watch out for their seasonal children’s trails and don’t forget to leave enough time for a relax on the lawn whilst the children have fun on the play equipment, or tag on the Waterperry to Waterstock walk if you still have bags of energy.
Dogs are welcome in the estate, including the tearoom, apart from the ornamental gardens.
