Aqua Vale Leisure Centre

Aqua Vale Leisure Centre

Date of Adventure: 11 Jul, 2022

Aqua Vale Leisure Centre in Aylesbury is something of a hidden treasure!

I’ll start with the cost as that’s what we all want to know: a Family Waterslides session is £29.20 for two adults and two juniors for 75 minutes, and under 5’s go free! I go with my three boys on my own, it makes for a great treat for under £30 and we always spend an hour or so in the park after. Good value and so fun packed.

There’s lots for all ages: waterfall and mini slides which lead into the lazy river (our fave!), flumes for older kids (over 1 metre) and a separate pool with jacuzzi chairs, lane swimming and free swimming. There are two super shallow pools for small children too – one with a ship, slide and water squirter. Heads up that you are allowed to bring your own inflatables.

The older boys (all strong swimmers) go off on their own whilst I supervise the five year old  – we spend most of our time in the lazy river being blasted around by the jets together!

There’s a great park on the other side of the car park too, make sure to leave enough time for a visit as there is no way you are walking past it without requests!

This is one you will return to again and again.
