🎃Bunkers Hill Pumpkin Hunt
It’s back! And as lovely as ever. Race around the nursery and find letters on the hidden pumpkins, unscramble and claim your prize. This year the trail isn’t extended into the meadow as previously because of flooding, so as well as giving you a potted pansy for your prize they also give you a free drinks voucher to use in the café hut next time as a sorry. What a place! Love it. As always, trail money goes to local MH charities.
🛝Tackley Playground
It would be rude to be in the area and not visit Tackley Playground! A fave of ours for years; it hasn’t changed much but it doesn’t have to: huge play on combine harvester, ground trampoline, challenging apparatus, zip wire, swings, slides and tunnels. Bring a ball for a kick about as there’s a huge field there too.
✈️Oxford Airport
On the way home we stopped on The Straight Mile and pulled into the lay-by right opposite the runway and watched plane after plane (and a helicopter) come right over our heads to land. So exciting!
