Cassington Play Area

Cassington Play Area

Date of Adventure: 20 Jun, 2022

⭐Currently being re-furbished! Watch this space! ⭐

This hidden play area in Cassington is a local favourite, its now one of ours and can be one of yours too!

At the centre of the play area is a pretty impressive wooden structure with lots of interesting ways to clamber up, a wibbly wobbly bridge and slides, fireman’s pole and lots more. The sunken trampoline is always a hit and there are swings for young and old too. In the other corner of the park is more equipment: a zip wire, nest swing, stand up spinner and a pretty swish looking modern see-saw.

Bring a football and enjoy a kick about on the grass; it’s well cared for as it’s used for cricket matches too. I love playgrounds like these that you can just pop to on a weekend and everyone will be happy –  team with a visit to nearby Worton Hall Kitchen Garden for unparalleled happiness.

Did you

Know?

Tracey Emin’s first British exhibition since 1997 was at Modern Art Oxford in 2002 and drew together the artist's now iconic neon wall hangings, drawings, etchings, film works, and a large scale sculpture installation of a pier and shack made from reclaimed timber.
