This new Community Path in the Blenheim Estate is a lovely walk. It’s short (1.5 miles) and there are entrances in Long Hanborough, where we entered, or Bladon.
The path, suitable for buggies – we saw lots – passes by fields, through woodland and meanders by the river, all on a gravel path. We didn’t walk all of the way but we did see an abundance of nature on our wander: deer, pheasants, bunnies and swans. The Community Path eventually leads you into the Parkland where it joins up with other paths, do be mindful that you have to have an annual pass to access some areas but this is clearly signed.
Buggies, bikes and walkers are welcome and we’ll be returning at a weekend to walk the whole connecting route. We already love exploring Blenheim via the various gates and tagging this onto it would make for a lovely long adventure, especially welcome in the warmer weather!
