The big guns are out and the NEW (and cheap!) Illuminate Light Trail at Millets Farm is definitely challenging Blenheim to a dual. It has all the interesting features, music and wonder but on a much smaller scale. It still has the wow factor but with a small w, whereas Blenheim is definitely a capital W – fine with me!
I took my boy and his friend and they absolutely loved it. 90 minutes well spent. The best thing (apart from the fake snow), is that we practically had it to to ourselves and only saw about 10 people on the way round. Midweek is the time to go!
There’s huge marshmallows on the way round (3 on a stick for £5) and hot chocolates with a gingerbread man included (£5+). At the end of the trail there are food stalls (flatbreads, fried chicken, churros etc) and fairground rides.
This is definitely bridging a gap for the mid price point light trails and I love it for that as it means more people can have a taste of the Christmas light magic. And it is magic ✨
