Little Milton Playground

Little Milton Playground

Date of Adventure: 28 Jul, 2023

This is a firm favourite of ours and a playground that we have been visiting for years. It has a good mix of equipment for older and younger children, plus a big green and tennis courts too.

Fenced in, the equipment is positioned around a central wooden gazebo with benches (parents in mind?!). The bowl roundabout was the biggest hit, as was the pirate ship for some imaginary play. The small play equipment consists of a little climbing wall, den and slide and the one for older kids has ropes, poles, nets, a bridge and a pretty impressive (and fast!) slide. There was also a selection of swings for all ages, zip wire, seesaw, wobbly bridge, balancing logs and stumps and an interactive play board.

A visit to the café is a must, they do a selection of takeaway food and the shop is well stocked as well. Grab yourself a cuppa and be an encouraging supporter (and potentially referee depending on how many children you have!) from the comfort of the gazebo!

Did you

Know?

Tracey Emin’s first British exhibition since 1997 was at Modern Art Oxford in 2002 and drew together the artist's now iconic neon wall hangings, drawings, etchings, film works, and a large scale sculpture installation of a pier and shack made from reclaimed timber.

Fancy buying me a ko-fi?

Want to support my work?

Feel free to buy me a (strong!) coffee, it will help fuel my adventures near and far. Support can come in many form though: sharing my website in your school WhatsApp group or liking a Facebook post is equally appreciated.
