Santa’s Sleigh is back – save the date!
This is one of our beloved traditions – chasing madly after Santa’s Sleigh for a wave as it travels around the streets of Oxford! It is completely joyful watching all the children tearing around excitedly as the Christmas music plays and Santa rings his bell. If you give the volunteers a piece of paper with a donation then they will pass it onto Santa who will give your child a shout out. We did this last year and my boys loved it!
Here’s the line-up:
Monday 16th December: Blackbird Leys & Greater Leys
Tuesday 17th December: Barton & Sandhills
Wednesday 18th December: Risinghurst & Quarry
Thursday 19th December: Headington & Wood Farm
On each day there will be a live map to follow online too – this isn’t live yet but will live on the day. Every year Oxford Round Table collect for local causes, so save up any spare pennies you have for the collection buckets.
