It’s open!
If you don’t know about this extraordinary house, let me fill you in: every year Kennington resident Martin Claridge goes to town on a mind-boggling Christmas display to raise money for local charities and bring a bit of festive joy to Oxford. There’s lights, music, Santa, gifts for the children (cash donations in the charity bucket appreciated) and a Christmas photo op of dreams in the sleigh.
The scene is lit up every night from 5pm and Santa is on duty every Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus during Christmas week. We’ve been for the past 4 years and love it – the amount of work that goes into this display is unreal.
