This working farm is just the ticket for a little adventure. Walk amongst the piglets (my favourite part) feed the sheep (animal feed purchased from the farm shop), stroke the lambs during lambing season, take a peek at the calves and marvel at the size of the Highland Cows. Huge! And don’t forget to give the naughty goats a scratch too. Between March and April the ewes are brought into the barn for lambing and the public can get up close and personal with bottle feeding taking place twice daily.
There’s a little play area with ride-on toys and benches for the grown ups. Grab a hot drink from the farm shop cafe or, like us, hoover up a packet of biscuits too and wonder how it happened!
This is a working farm so it is a bit rough around the edges, as you would expect from any working farm, machinery is dotted around the place so please supervise children closely.
