The Story Museum

The Story Museum

Date of Adventure: 22 Jul, 2023

A beautifully magical and immersive experience and one of our favourite places to escape to.

Enter the Galleries through The Portal, collect your magic wand and plan your journey. Bang the gong three times and follow the Hare into the Whispering Wood, a magical indoor forest where you will meet talking trees, ready to tell you their tales. Move the leaf with your wand and the trees will reveal their secrets to you. Listen to the stories from far away lands and from long ago times…don’t leave without making a wish on the Wishing Tree.

Next, move to the Enchanted Library where books come to life and you can step inside the pages of a story. Where else can you wander between the shelves and find yourself inside a story? Lose yourself in imaginary worlds – memorable moments from favourite stories bought to life in this most extraordinary of museums.

The Treasure Chamber will host touring exhibitions and visiting treasures – visit their website to see what mind-opening treats are in store for you.

Did you

Know?

Kingston Bagpuize Millennium Green was bought by the Kingston Bagpuize Millennium Trust using National Lottery money, and is run by volunteers from the village. It will never be built on, the village owns it forever and will keep on using it as a sanctuary for all.

Fancy buying me a ko-fi?
