BeWILDerwood Cheshire

Date of Adventure: 8 May, 2023

BeWILDerwood in Cheshire has been named Visitor Attraction of the Year 2023 and we are not surprised. It’s utterly brilliant!

We went soon after it opened and it’s like the greatest adventure playground that you have ever been to, multiplied it by 10 with treehouses, re-donk-ulous slides, speedy zip wires, sky-high maze and magical storytelling and crafts. It was up there with one of the best days out we have ever had.

The 70 acre treehouse adventure park is packed with bonkers slides, wobbly wires, long and fast zip wires, giant swings and so much more. The idea is to immerse yourself in this ludicrously fantastic world of outdoor play which feels so nostalgic – no rides with bright lights and loud noises – in fact the loudest noises you will hear is the sound of children laughing and squealing in delight! And grown ups join in too, so dress accordingly for clambering up cargo nets, sliding down almost vertical slides (surprisingly not as scary as I thought!), whooshing on zip wires and balancing on broken bridges!

Spilt into areas and with excitement around every corner, here are some of our favourite bits:

⭐️ Wobbly Wires – hold on tight!
⭐️ Slippery Slopes – woooooosh!
⭐️ Sky Maze – errrr, where’s the way out?!
⭐️ Big Hat craft tent – crafty crowns
⭐️ The Broken Bridge – don’t fall through!

And toddlers will love it too! Everything the big kids have that they can’t go on, there’s a mini version for them too, plus an extra wide slide that they can go down sitting next to their grown up – less scary for them (and us too!)

There is no secondary spend once inside, all activities are included in the price and you will leave happy, knackered and feeling totally re-wilded.
