2026 seems to be the year for a park glow-up!
This playground at Millennium Hall has been begging for a refurb for quite some time and it was worth the wait! All the old wooden play equipment has been replaced by bright, colourful new equipment and the addition of extra swings too. There’s still a play frame for the older and younger children, plus the climbing wall. There’s lots to keep children of all ages busy – make sure you bring a ball for the basketball court and football for the huge field with goals. There’s also table tennis, fast zip wire (my bum now touches the floor when I’m on it, a new experience I’m not happy about!) and hall.
It’s a really good venue for a party, I’ve been to loads there – both adult and children’s – especially in the summer where the children can be in and out and the doors left open.
