Oxford Illusion Musuem

Oxford Illusion Musuem

Date of Adventure: 30 Jun, 2025

Set over four floors, this place is an absolute trip! I’m not a huge fan of illusions, mainly because I feel quite nauseous looking them but I really enjoyed it.

Here’s some of our fave bits:

⬆️Upside-down room
🪞Mirror maze (this was quite hilarious!)
🔢Infinity dodecahedron
🪄Glowing wands
🕶️Upside-down glasses
🐰Rabbit hole
🧺Infinity picnic

There’s loads of other trippy pictures, spinning things and things that aren’t quite as they seem over the four floors but the above were our fave bits and we went through the whole place twice over two hours.

This is brilliant fun for the kids and something a bit different!

Know?

The Oxford Canal starts at Hythe Bridge, just a few minutes from the city centre and railway station. Built over 200 years ago, dug by hand, it flows north out of the city, through Banbury, and all the way to Coventry.
