Daring and accessible!
This new playground in Stadhampton has been a long time coming after the last one – that we also loved – was looking a bit tired. Great to see lots of accessible features for children with reduced mobility or wheelchair dependency. It retains a lot of similar features to the last play area but with lots of exciting additions with the foot print taking up a larger space and more swing options too. If this playground design looks familiar to you then it might be because the same people (Setter) designed the Warborough play park, which is utterly fantastic.
We love visiting this area for a FREE day out and combine a trip to the Wild Pig Farm Shop where you can meet the animals, find a few fairy doors and have a little wander.
The funding for these playgrounds are often kick started by passionate members of the local community who organise fundraising and apply for grants (if you have ever applied for grants before then you will know how utterly painful it is!), so bravo to them! 👏🏼
