🌳Hill End: ffennell festival 

It’s the big one! LOVE this festival – so many activities included in the price including pond dipping, model aeroplanes, bushcraft, climbing wall and more. Plus the opportunity to run wild and free across the 67 acre site!

🚜 Millets Farm: Big Vehicle Weekend 

Raising money for SSNAP charity to support sick newborns. You’ll see big farm vehicles on display, barrel train rides, bale mountain, bungee trampoline, trail and more. Some activities are paid.

☀️ Magdalen Road Summer Festival 

Community street party celebrating one of the UK’s coolest streets (true story).  Cafes, restaurants, stalls, yoga, bike workshop, music, children’s activities and much much more.

🎪 Cumnor Primary School Circus 

Professional circus performers across three shows, a BBQ and bar, stalls and sweets, and a brilliant afternoon for all the family. Every penny raised goes straight back to the school. Well done to all the PTA’s working hard to raise money for their school community!

🪩Family Dance Party: Kidlington

A ‘hip-hopping, toe-tapping’ daytime disco for all of the family. Featuring bubbles and balloons, movement activities and dance games, sensory play and face painting! With DJs playing party classics, for you and your little ones.

🌱Cutteslowe Greenhouse: Hope Festival 

A creative, family-friendly gathering centred around the idea of hope. Contribute to a live mural artwork, add to the Tree of Hope, and enjoy crafts for children, homemade bakes and drinks. Greenhouse sown and grown plants & plugs will also be on sale

🦖 Museum of Natural History: Relaxed morning opening 

Relaxed morning openings allow visitors to experience the Museum of Natural History and Pitt Rivers Museum early in the day, when the buildings are quiet. Visitor numbers are limited to reduce noise and create a calmer environment. These sessions are designed for those who may benefit from a calmer environment, including visitors on the autism spectrum, with additional learning needs, or sensory and communication challenges.

🧺Barton Big Picnic Brunch 

Family games and crafts in Barton Community Garden plus the chance to do some planting. Bring a picnic blanket and drinks and snacks will be provided.

Love a farm visit? There will be one near you with LOADS of activities on to celebrate Open Farm Sunday! This event at Common Leys Farm is always good, as is this one at Lacey’s Farm too. Search by area here.

🏃‍♀️Run Jericho 

It’s not too late to enter this fantastic community event! There’s different race lengths: 10k, 5k and the popular 1 mile children’s event. Run Jericho is a huge fundraiser for local primary school, St Barnabas.

A community celebration with lots of fun and exciting activities, rides and entertainment for all the family. Lots of delicious food on offer and many community groups represented. Ride wristbands on sale.

🥳 Risinghurst and Sandhills summer fete

Such a popular event at Risinghurst paying fields. All the usual fete fun and games plus local stalls. It’s also Oxfordshire Green Week so there will be mots of nature inspired activities too.
