Children will love Addison’s Walk, the circular 1.5km route alongside the River Cherwell. Spot the herd of deer in the Deer Park, keep your eyes peeled for the resident heron and wave at the swathes of people happily punting and canoeing – so idyllic. It’s fabulous for seasonal shows of snowdrops and bluebells too so mark it in your diary to re-visit then too!
There’s something quite special about wandering through the grounds of Magdalen College and you can’t help but think who, with it’s rich history and impressive alumni, has walked the same steps as you. This is definitely one the adults and children will appreciate in equal measure and it’s without doubt our favourite college too.
