🎭Westgate: characters and shadow puppetry
There’s loads going on at the Westgate on Alice’s Day. Meet the curious characters from Alice in Wonderland who will be journeying from The Story Museum to the Westgate at 12 noon – 1pm/ 2:15pm- 3pm/ 3.30pm -4.30pm. Beware the Jabberwock! Experience Lewis Carroll’s magical tale brought to life with stunning shadow puppetry and live singing in this free family-friendly performances (11am – 11.30am/ 12pm – 12.30pm/ 1.30pm – 2pm).

🫖Oxford Botanic Garden: Tea Time with Hatter and Hare
Wow! The Walled Garden will be transformed into a magical Wonderland for the annual celebrations of Alice’s Day, hosted by the Mad Hatter & March Hare. WhatNot Theatre’s relaxed Alice in Wonderland performance, which you can enjoy from your picnic blanket, is really good fun, we’ve been before! As well as the theatre performance there are also Alice-themed trials on around the gardens.

🐰History of Science Museum: Alice’s Wonderland Adventures
Help Alice find the White Rabbit in a fun gallery-based game. Get the answer right at each museum object to move your figure on the board game and unlock the next question. Answering all the questions leads to finding the white rabbit and a sticker! You can also pick up a paper Alice trail and discover more objects in the Museum linked to Alice’s story.

🛝Oxfordshire Play Association Play and Activity Day: Wheatley and Holton

🤹🏼♂️Eynsham Carnival
In it’s 78th year! Expect a colourful parade, the famous Shirt Race, live arena entertainment, craft and community stalls, a funfair, delicious street food and family activities throughout the day. This year’s Nature theme encourages everyone to dress up, with medals awarded for some of the best costumes.

🚂Cutteslowe Miniature Railway
On the bucket list for little ones! There is SO much to do at Cutteslowe park: numerous playgrounds, huge sandpit, free splash park, crazy golf, tennis courts, wildlife area, duck pond, beach volleyball court, café and more! The weather is turning really warm again so bring your swimmers and enjoy the splash park too!

📚Worcester College: The Storyteller Sculpture exhibition
Last day! We went to see this soon after it opened and have been recommending it ever since. Fascinating sculptures in a beautiful setting. It’s a rare opportunity to visit Worcester, usually it’s alumni only and the general public on limited specific days only, so don’t miss out! Check out our reel from our visit.
