Cotswold Lavender

Cotswold Lavender

Date of Adventure: 14 May, 2023

NEW OPENING DATE – 11th JUNE!

A sight that really has to be seen to be believed as the purple is just unreal! Vibrant scenes in Cotswold Lavender as 45 acres of lavender stretch as far as the eye can see in over 60 miles of rows and 250,000 plants –  that will make a lot of lavender pillow spray!

This is picture opportunity heaven too! Timotei-esqe hair swishes (dogs welcome for tail swishes too!), people looking off into the distance blue steel style, compliant children in their Sunday best posing wonderfully – charge up your senses and your cameras because you will want to capture it all!

There’s also the Wildflower Meadows to savour, Bechwood Trail full of natural play opportunities and The Cabin to treat yourself to some lavender products. There is nothing that isn’t lavender-ified here, including lavender Earl Grey tea and sugar!

Watch out on their Facebook page for extended opening hours at peak flowering times in July, where the fields are open until 8pm. Perfect for those golden hour shots in the warm, fading sunlight.

The lavender is harvested at the height of summer so you only have a small window to go – don’t miss out as it’s only open for 3 months a year!
