Brill playground

Brill playground

Date of Adventure: 7 Jun, 2023

If you thought the star attraction in Brill was the windmill, think again! Move over windmill because this amazing new playground wants to share the limelight!

The local community worked incredibly hard to raise money for this playground – I’m always so impressed with the dedication that goes into these fundraising projects. What better drive than to give future generations of local children the play spaces they deserve. Bravo Brill!

I’ll start with the Junior area – this is not enclosed:

* Triple Windmill Towers climbing structure incorporating tunnels, climbing wall, fireman’s pole, clickety bridge, monkey bars, climbing net and slides
* 30m zip wire
* Swings, basket swing and accessible swing seat

Next the fully enclosed Infant playground:

* Windmill entrance – I LOVE this!Double Windmill Towers climbing structure with double slide, tunnel and den
* Trampoline
* Two small Dexter cow slides, one with a climbing net
* Two tunnels/climbing mounds
* Three musical instruments
* Seesaw and swings
* Wheelchair accessible roundabout

This is all in a huge playing field with football goals, and an enclosed MUGA (multi-use games area) with goals and basketball hoops.

What a fantastic community asset!
