🥳 Florence Park: FloFest

The headliner of the weekend! We LOVE FloFest, such a fantastic community event with an eclectic mix of family activities and fun. Treasure hunts, dance party, baby massage, mask making, games, VR, art, storytelling, dogshow and way way more. If you fancy hanging around in the evening then there’s the ticketed GloFest with live music and dj sets from Oxford’s finest.

🫧Oxfordshire Play Association: Didcot Playday 

They are coming thick and fast now! Saturday is the turn of Didcot, St Edmund’s Park. Go-Karts, Art Avalanche, Brick Building, Zorbing, Ride on Time, Fire Play, Bright Sparks Science, Giant Bubbles, Smoothie Bike and more! All FREE!

🐏 Cotswold Farm Park: FREE entry for dads 

Nice little perk for the dads! Interact closely and meet over 50 rare and native breeds across 7 different species of British farm animals, including Golden Guernsey goats and Highland cattle. Plus children can blow off steam on the massive bouncy pillow and in the Adventure Barn and dads can enjoy a free pint at the OxShed. Been loads of times, love it.

🚴 Harwell Pump track opening 

So delighted to see this opening, especially since it was delayed by vandalism. But they’ve done it! There will be jam sessions on track, a best trick competition, free bike checks, bikes to try for free, an agility course for balance bikes and some fantastic prizes to be won.

🎵 JDP Cushion Concert

An introduction to different styles of music and instruments to children and their families. Bring your cushions to sit on and your best singing voice, dancing feet and clapping hands!

🚂 Cutteslowe Miniature Railway

Such a lovely miniature railway experience and with the track extension it’s great value for money too. There is SO much to do at Cutteslowe park: numerous playgrounds, huge sandpit, free splash park (open!), crazy golf, tennis courts, wildlife area, duck pond, beach volleyball court, café and more! It’s easily a whole day adventure!

🐊 Crocodile’s of the World: FREE entry for dads

We LOVE this place, especially feeding time! It’s the UK’s only dedicated crocodile zoo and houses over 150 crocodilians representing 19 of the 24 known global species, alongside other exotic wildlife committed to conservation, breeding programs, and public education. We went there before and ended up holding a snake – I’ll never forget that one! They have a limited number of free tickets for dads when when purchasing another child, adult or concession ticket – available online only.

🦦 Beale Wildlife Park: FREE entry for dads 

Spot meerkats, otters, lemurs and birds of prey, hop aboard the miniature railway, get jumping on the bouncy pillow and huge adventure playgrounds and cool off in the splash pool, which is now open for the summer. Bring a picnic for the lovely riverside setting.
