JUNE
These are a few ofour favourite June things
The summer holidays are nearly here and the excitement is rising! Adventures are longer as the sun stays high in the sky all day.
LET YOUR
ADVENTURES
BEGIN
Phoenix Trail
A flat, traffic-free, 7.5 mile route between Thame and Princess Risborough which largely follows a disused railway line. Definitely one for a family cycle!
Kids Week: FREE theatre tickets!
Every year, during the summer holidays, a child aged 17 or under can go to any available participating show for free as long as they’re accompanied by an adult paying full price. Tickets go on sale on June 11th at 10am!
Hinksey Open Air Pool
One of the largest outdoor swimming pools in the south of England. When it gets hot in Oxford the masses head to Hinksey Pool to cool off!
Cutteslowe Miniature Railway
Choo Chooooooooo! The sweetest miniature railway with extended track. Ride on, wave, or simply watch the joyful faces as families travel around on their little journey.
DON’T
FORGET TO
check out the Oxfordshire Play Association’s Playdays to see if there are any near you this summer. OPA was established as a charity in 1974 to increase play across Oxfordshire, and to increase awareness of the profound impact that play has on a child’s learning, development and wellbeing.
